one time when we went to the mall, i got irked because my kids can’t seem to get enough of buying from the food kiosks in front of the grocery section. i promised to make them siomai, so they go for the taco stand and gosh, did i tell ya guys, my kids were the kind of kids who, like computers have lots of storage capacity! so, while i was at the grocery, i bought some nachos and tacos which i made at hubby’s grand day. the kids and adults had fun filling in their taco shells:

bought these 12-piece taco shells for nearly a dollar

bought romaine lettuce because i couldn’t find any other lettuces…some cucumber, and tomatoes and onions, which i dice into smaller pieces. and i sauteed beef/pork in garlic and bell peppers and put tomato sauce in it.

my kids didn’t like mustard so i made mayo and sour cream plus cheese whiz as toppings, and cheese slices on top…well, how’s that for my first taco at home? i tell yah, all 4 boxes were empty after hubby’s bday.

daughter brought home this strawberry wine from baguio city. christmas day has already ended…and, i still don’t know what to do with this. we had white wine last “noche buena”…that’s the only wine i could sip…only a little ^_^

Daughter had all the ruby sweetness the other night when we let her feast on these two ruby indulgences: Kit Kat ice cram, and a black forest cake with cherries on top…super sweetness!!!

Hubby and me meant to buy a new sofa set last weekend but because we couldn’t find exactly what we’re looking for…instead, we ended up buying the LCD which was up for sale at Abenson’s.

We’re looking for a new set over armchair tables. A pretty dining table need armchairs with cushions that would be comfortable to dine on, especially this coming holidays when most people we’re planning to have a feast, or  family reunions, or just celebrating Christmas with family.

I would want a round dining table so that i could buy a flocking table overlay 60×60, a tablecloth that would be elegant especially when decorated by red poppy painting in pastel. Oh, i can’t wait for that new set of furniture.

Hubby and me planned to visit another furniture shop tomorrow afternoon. Hope i could find what we’re looking for. Because, Christmas is only 5-nights away!!! I’m getting excited. Furniture shopping, for me, is a lot more fun than finding the best deal at a shoe store!!!

The day before my brother’s flight back to Australia he tote everybody for a day’s strolling in the city mall. He treated his nephews and nieces for an arcade fun, shopping and of course some food tripping.
